"Don't go 'round tonight / it's bound to take your life / there's a bad moon on the rise."

-John Fogerty, Creedence Clearwater Revival

This series of music-inspired paintings began with my Crystal Ship painting, a gift for a dear friend. My brother and I grew up with an ever evolving, ever rich soundtrack provided by our  parents. There was always music, from Chopin to Springsteen. Playing in the car, on my dad's old stereo system, on the little radio we brought outside on hot summer days. This music became our mythology, our heritage, as integral to our daily lives as sleeping and eating, and these paintings are little long-held slices of imagery these songs have always conjured up.

All of my watercolor prints are created with love and care on my Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer. They are museum-quality, printed on 240gsm Aquarelle Rag, which is gorgeous, 100% cotton and acid-free, which means they will last for a very, very long time.

Sizes available:

8.5" x 11"

5" x  7"

Prints will arrive unframed, covered with a protective plastic sleeve in a sturdy recycled flat mailer with a piece of scrap chip board for extra support.

I take a lot of pride in the  quality of my prints, and strive to photograph them as accurately as possible, but please be aware that every monitor is different, and it's possible that the colors in your print will differ slightly than how it appears on your computer screen.
